All portrait sessions include:

+ A CURATED EXPERIENCE
I will guide you through selecting a location for your shoot as well as how to choose outfits for all participants. Locations may include your home, a natural-light studio (rental fees are extra), the beach, or a park. Shoots generally last 1-1.5hr which will allow time for one outfit change if you’d like.

+ ALL-INCLUSIVE PRICING
Your photos will be delivered in an online gallery with unlimited downloads. No selecting proofs, no extra costs to receive extra digitals, and print purchases aren’t required to go through me (you can take them to Walgreens, but be prepared for crappier print quality ;)).

Galleries are typically delivered wtihin 4 weeks of the shoot. Need them sooner? We can arrange rush editing!

+ KEEPSAKES
You will receive $150 credit to use in the print shop. I strongly recommend purchasing at least one wall hanging for your home! You may also order Holiday Cards and so much more.

Newborn Photography

As a mother myself, I absolutely love to capture these earliest memories with your newborn. That 4th trimester is a blur! They truly change so fast, so you won’t want to forget those early details—the way they grab your finger with their whole hand, the froggy pose, the sleepy snuggles.

I encourage you and your partner to get in these photos as well! I promise you’ll be happy to have them someday, no matter how hard it was to get dressed or put some mascara on. And your child will really love these photos when they’re older too! Having a hard recovery? No worries, we can do all of your photos in the rocking chair or bed! We will make it work.

These sessions can be done at any time during the newborn period, but I recommend waiting no longer than 2 weeks, because that’s when baby is still very sleepy and content as long as they are fed (we will take lots of feeding breaks!). Sessions last approximately 2-3 hours as we move pretty slowly for feeding and changing breaks.

 

Family Events

With family milestones often come celebratory events, such as a baby shower or first birthday party. I am available for these events and would love to work with you on them! I highly recommend having professional photography present so you can just enjoy the event.

Coverage generally consists of two or three hours to ensure time to photograph those special details, portraits with your loved ones, and candid moments.

Frequently asked questions

 

+ What does the session include? How many people can come?

Family sessions are meant to cover just your immediate family. That probably means something like you, your partner, and your children. While some photographers may charge extra for shoots more than ~5 people, I will never charge extra just because you have a lot of children. Now, if your parents and siblings are coming too, I would consider that an extended family shoot and there may be an extra cost depending on the details. These extra costs are applied because more people = more photos even if the session duration is not increased. More photos = more film = more costs = more editing.

+ Can we bring our pets?

Your pets ARE part of the family after all! So if the location allows it, absolutely. However, I do ask that you please bring an extra person with you who can handle the pets during the photos they're not in. Or during an in-home session, please have a place to secure your pets so they're not trying to climb all over me while I work (unless it's kittens. I'll allow that). Playing with a pet actually makes for some really wonderful candid photos with your children!

+ What do we wear? Do you provide wardrobe?

I don’t currently provide a full wardrobe for clients, but I can provide some guidance with your outfits! If you want to wear something nice but don't want to purchase new clothes, I recommend looking at Rent The Runway.

+ Will you photoshop out xyz?

While I will photoshop out blemishes like temporary pimples or scenery distractions such as a trash can, I leave things like laugh lines as is, because it’s what you really looks like, and I love being true to you! With that said, if you have specific insecurities about your body, please let me know ahead of time so I can pose you strategically to help minimize those insecurities.

+ How many outfit changes do I get?

This isn’t technically limited, but I urge you to choose no more than 2 outfits. You are also welcome to switch up outfits (e.g. have a sweater over a top so you do some with the sweater and some without, etc.) without taking away much time from shooting.

+ How many photos do I get?

Generally a family session will have a total of 75-100 photos. You will be able to preview all the photos in a online gallery. Events can vary widely depending on the type of event, number of attendees, and more.

+ Do you provide hair & makeup?

At this time, family sessions do not include professional hair and makeup. I can definitely recommend some MUAH artists if you need!

+ What should we bring?

Bring some of your children's favorite toys! They can either play with them for some candid photos, or I can hold the toy to bring their attention to the camera when we're trying to get those nice smiling photos.
If we're shooting outdoors somewhere, you can also bring some type of blanket for the family to sit on! I love sitting poses for families, especially with babies and toddlers.
